. ». ■ In spite of the inclement weather, a large audience attended a very enjoyable concert, given in the Cunimunity Hall of the East Christchurch School,' in < aid of i'ne School Committee, funds, ,on Thursday .evening. Mrs H. G. Reeves's Banjo BaDd played several selections, and. the following artists gavo items Vernon -Read (song). Miss F. Brewins (recitation). Misses Porris O'Connor, Bella Peddle, Marion Johnston, and Jeano Sbarpe (Irish reel). Master Alex.' Huriro (violin solo), Miss I. Agassiz (song), Mrs H. G. Reeves (banjo solo), Miss Sluela Chapman (barefoot dance), Master R. Woodward! (recitation), Miss Lilian Hanliata (song), Mrs G. L.- Bull and Miss I._ Agassiz (vocal duet), Miss Myra Boot (recitation), Messrs A. "Woodward, A. Elhvood, and G. Maddams (instrumental.trio), Miss Maureen Jones (too dance), Miss Elsie Patrick (song), A. Woodward (humorous song), Master Ronald Foster (recitation), Miss Joan Tardlcy (seann triubhais). ' Mrs A. Macquarie acted as accompanist.
