McGregor (Masterton), A. Simmons (Whnkatane), S. Glermie (Poverty Bay), and Murray Pratt (Otorohanga) each shot the possible (21) and divided the stake. In the shoot-off for the gold medal and championship, Nitz shot ten birds, all with the first barrel. Pratt nine, Glennie six, aud Simmons five. McGregor missed his first shot..
