GIFTS FROM MATABELES. (by cable—ritESS association—copyright,) (AUSTEALIAN AKD N.Z. CAJSLK ASSOCIATION.) (Received June SOth, 7.25 p.m.) CAPE TOWN, Juno 29. The Prince of Wales, after a visit to Serowo, where ho was welcomed by thousands of Bcchuanaland natives and unveiled a memorial to their late Chief Khama, commenced a tour of Ehodesia. He was accorded a great reception, at Bulawayo. In a speech, he paid a warm tribute to the late Mr Cecil Bhodes. Later, at a gathering of Matabeles from all parts of the country, he was presented with numerous quaint gifts as an expression of! affection and loyalty.
