CHRISTCHURCH AMATEUR CLUB. A meeting' of the committee of the Christchurch Amateur Boxing Club was held on Saturday evening. Present—Messrs J. F. Wilson (in tho chair), J. Gardiner, W. G. Atack, A. R. Kirk, G. S. Biltcliff, T. E. Robson, C. H.' Taylor and J. D. Baybutt (hen. secretary). A number of new members were elected. The following committees were appointed: Rooms and h inance, Messrs T E. Kobson, C. S McCullv, B. Bennett and H. Knigut, Publicity and Propaganda, Messrs J. I'. Wilson, W. G. Atack, A. K. Kirk, C. ii. Tavlor and C. S. McCully. Mr L. li. Corderey was elected president of tho club. . , A number of applications were received for membership enrolment forms The secretary reported that tho membership now numbered about fifty, exclusive of competitive members.
