BAND CONCERT.

Last evening, in aid of the band funds, Derry's Military Band gave a popular concert to a large audience in the Liberty Theatre. The programme was as follows: -—March, "Olympia Hippodrome'' (Alexander); valse, "Beautiful Blue Danube'' (Strauss); morceau, "Turkish Patrol" (Hume); overture. "William Tell" (Rossini); fantasia. "Smithy in the Woods" (Michaelis) ; piccolo solo, "Sparkling Dewdrops" (Bluncheteau) ; descriptive fantasia, "Home, Sweet Home the World Over" (Garipe) ; march, "Reconnaissance" (Hewitt). The committee will be pleased to receive the names of any items requested for future concerts.
