SUSPECTED BRISBANE CASE. (BY CA3I.E— ratSS ASSOCIATION— COriRIGHT.) tAUSTKAUAX AND *Z- CABLE ASSOCIATION.; BRISBANE. June 24. A suspected case of bubonic plague has been discovered in Brisbane. Tho patient is a young woman employed in a laundry. She developed symptoms which were clinically diagnosed by two doctors as suspected plague, but a conclusive bacteriological examination has yet to be completed. In tho meantime, the patient, has removed to an infectious diseases hospital, and other stringent precautions have been adopted.
