Two calls for men to man the Commonwealth Line's steamer Fordsdalc were unsuccessful, the men refusing to go to sea except under the guarantee clause. The marine transport group of union.-, discussed tho shipping dispute, but refused to announce tho decision of the meeting to the Press. MELBOURNE, June 24.
The lighthouse steamer Kyogle, whoso articles expired yesterday, was unable to pet a crew owing to the Commonwealth Line's refusal to insert a conditions clause in the new agreement.
