ST. JOHN'S CHURCH.

SIXTY-FIRST ANNIVERSARY. The sixty-first anniversary of St. John's Church, Latimer Square, was celebrated yesterday, St. John the Baptist Day. Holy Communion was held at 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. In the evening a parish tea was attended by a very large number, and the hall was full for the concert given by the choir. At a church service held at 7.15 p.m. the , vicar, the Rev. J. F. Coursey, preached on St. John the Baptist, saying that St. John was never afraid to rebuke evil wherever he found it.
