The Berlin correspondent of "Tu« Times" says the German Press goon to extremes in commenting on tho French Security Pact note, which will b« answered by a request for further information in regard to matters which an> described as conflicting with tlie League of Nations Covenant.
While Fascist and extreme Nationalist organs blatantly call for an unhesitating abandonment of the I'act proposals, the Centre and Left Presa just as vigorously nrgo tho Government to proceed with negotiations. Tho latter's attitude may ho summed up in a single sentence: The sooner thero is a conference the bettor. As far as tho Nationalist Party a concerned, it is believed that it will oppose any negotiations until Cologne is evacuated and disarmament finally settled.
BRITAIN'S SUPPORT.

Tho Berlin correspondent of the "Petit Parisien" says tho British Chargo d'Affaires called on Dr. Stresemann, German Foreign Minister, and emphasised tho importance which the British Government attachd to tho proposals in tho French Note in regard to tho Security Pact. He declared that tho Note formed tho best possible starting-point for negotiations between Germany and the Allies.
