Floods, greater than any experienced hitherto, are sweeping across tho lowlying country round tho Xepesui llivor and at Cioulbuni. Tho seas aro still very rough and vessels aro unablo to leave shelter. Tho river at tho Sydney waterworks reached a greater height than at any time during the last SO years. At Goulburn, tho "Wollondilly River is running bank to bank, and tho police have been compelled to rescuo isolated people in flood boats.

Queanbeyan, Bungcndore, and Tarago are also submerged in parts. The railway line for three-quarters of a mile over tho Breadalbane Ffain is covered, but traffio is not yet affected. J. Davidson, mailman of Buna, left Queanbeyan for mails. Later his horse and sulky were found in a crook. Davidson is still missing. At Forbes the Lachlan River has risen 17 feet. It is expected that tho flood here will equal that of 1923, when it rose to 42 feet.

Tlie Nepean at Camden is 12 foci above the bridge, and the river is still rising 10 inches an hour. All the lower reaches round tlio town axo inundated. Hawkesbury Bising Fast.

Rescue boats were kept busy all day on Sunday rescuing unfortunate Camden familiies.

The latest reports from Penrith state that tho position there is ominous and tho river is 30 feet above the safety level, and rising at the rate of three feet an hour. Tho town is in danger of a tremendous flood.

Tho Cataract Dam, the source of Sydney's water supply, is overflowing four feet above the spillway into fiie Nepcan. Tho Hawkcsbury River is rising at the rate of three, feet an hour, and it is feared that the flood will be immeasurably worse than that of a month ago. Tho bridge at "Windsor is submerged to a depth of seven feet. Exports from up country state that the river is still rising. "Windsor is entirely cut off. The North Richmond bridge is under eight feet of wator at North Richmond,, and Kurrajong is cut off. Police are busily engaged warning residents on the lowlands and river banks.

Large areas of" the country are submerged, and telegraphic communication south of Goulburn is very shaky. Tho Government Meteorologist forecasts further heavy falls, and says that the prospects of floods in the north-eastern districts are very pronounced.

MISSING MAN'S BODY FOUND.

SYDNEY, June 22

Practically the whole State is flooded, causing greater havoc than for tho past 25 years. There has been enormous damage over wide areas, but the waters are now receding.

Penrith is now out of danger. Windsor and Richmond are cut off from Sydney by road, the flood waters in places being 20 feet deep. • The body of Davidson, mail contractor and well-known grazier,- Queanbeyan, was found near Burra Creek. He was swept from his sulky wihilo crossing the creek. > Although, the waters are receding in many districts, the Weather Bureau haa issued a further flood warning forecasting auuitional heavy rain.

FORBES IN DANGER.

CHINESE DROWNED.

(Received June 22nd, 11 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 23.

The river at Forbes continues to rise and it is feared that by tc-monrow most of the town will be under wator. Parts of Cowra are already inundated and the residents are removing their goods to higher levels.

A Chinese attempting to cross a flooded area was drowned.

'Although there were many thrilling rescues in the flooded districts, so far only two fatalities havo been reported. The Canterbury Park races wero abandoned.
