THEATRE ROYAL.
WILLIAMSON VAUDEVILLE. Two more night performances will be given by the latest J. C. Williamson entertainers at the Theatre Royal, and a matineo will be given to-morrow afternoon. Long Tack Sam nud his clever Chinese people provide turns that are refreshingly original. Christchurch will chuckle over the loving birds for a long time. This item comes as tho culmination ot the remarkable offering of the Xovellc Brothers, who. in tho guise of clowns, are able to play violins and do the most difficult tumbling feats. Chris. Charlton is a happv type of illusionist, who can both mystifv and amuse his audience. A wonderful dance speciality is given by Brrol Addison and Gertrude Mitrenga. Moran and AA'iser twirl hats about—"all in fun." They are a remarkable pair, in whoso deft hands hats become docile things that do just whatever they demand of them. The vocal offerings o£ Arthur Mayes find instant favour.
