TO-NIGHT'S TOURNAMENT. The Christckurch Sports Club will stage another of its most popular fixtures at the Caledonian Hall this evening, and with an excellent programme of amateur events, supported by a professional contest, -visitors should receive full value for . their money. Six good amateur contests have been arranged, the competitors representing the best material in training in Ohristckurch at; the present time, including such promising young flstia artists as G. Wright, J. Sellers, H. Emerson, G. Logan, C. Pocock, C. Gardiner. T. Jaggers, W. Carey, A. Ledgard, J. Price, C. Woodward, and R. McGregor. These young boxers can be depended upon to make things merry from the sound of the gong, and it is report that all are in first-class condition 5 ? The professional contest will bo contested by Tom Harris of Wellington and T. Long of Ohristchurch, both good, open fighfers, who are likely, to make names for themselves. Popular prices, 2s 6d ss, and 10s, will bo charged, and patrons should get good value for their money.
