W.E.A. ACTIVITIES.
. The first fix!lire of the . season of the W.K.A. . Romblinf,' Club takes place this afternoon to Dover Castle, Bridle Path. Tho gramo'nho'ns concert to be given in the W.JS.A. rooms , this evening by Mr C. E. Hewlett promises to be as entertaining and as instructive as previous concerts given by him. Instead of giving several records by one artist, or composer, the items have been arranged to give examples of the works of as man- artists acd composers as possible. Included in the programme will be two F.ioisler records—"Variations," and 'Tiimbourin Chinols"—which that - great artist gave during his recent -. season in Christchurch.-. , ■•'■ Under the ausnices of the Vv.L.A. on -Honday'evening.' Mr" 11. do R. Flesher (sou of Mr J A. Fleshei-y; will givo an address en '•Hv-a'ro-Electric Systems." ' This ;W3 the subject of tho thesis Mr Flesher,- jun., submitted for his M.A. degree, and in view of tho importance of hydro-electric power to Catiterburw it .is expected that lucre will be & large attendance.
