THEATRE ROYAL.
LONG TACK SAM. A very fine programme is at present being presented at the Theatre Royal by the Long Tack Sam Company. With a number of clever Chinese performers, the turns presented are refreshingly original, thoir novelty in itself providing sufficient attraction to draw crowded houses. In his previous visit to Christchurch Mr Long Tack Sam won the golden opinions of those who saw him, for his diversity of work and the neat manner in which it was carried out. Most people wished to renew the acquaintance, and will certainly do so during his present season in Christchurch. The portion of the programme presented by Mr Long and his company extends over a wide range of subjects, and each as presentod proves thoroughly enjoyable. There are also a number of splendid supporting items on the bill provided by the following:—Errol Addison and Gertrude Mitrenga; Moran and "Wiser; Chris Charlton, Arthur Mayes, and the Novella Bros.
