"J" grade June-August shipments and AngustOctober shipments sold at £4l, closing rates £4l 10s: Output of Manila from Janualy Ist to Juno Bth was 546,000 bales, against 734,0?0 for same period last year. Stocks in Manila, on June Bth 185,000 against 166,000 last year. jNew Zealand market quiet and Fair offered at £33 10s June-August shipments with sellers hire 10s less. Small business reported direct with New Zealand in Highpoint fair at'£3s 10s. Fair in docks sold at £34.

WOOL. . . Bradford market fair, enquiry reported in matchings for Continent end America., but Tops quiet. Present quotations are: 64's warped (merino) 4s sd, 64'3 (average) 4s 3d, 66's (super halfbred) 2s lid, 40*8 prepared (coarse crossbred) Is lOd. TALLOW. Market less active and only fair demand at auction. Present quotations are:—Mutton: Fine 47s to 47s 6d per cwt; fair to good 455,6 d to 46s 6d per cwt; dark to dull 43a to 44s per cwt. . Beef: Sweet arfd-or mixed 47s to 47s €d per cwt; fair to good 445. €d to 46s 6d per cwt; dark to dull 41s to 42s 6d per cwt. Mixed: Fair to good 44s 6d to 46s 6d per cwt; dark to dull 41s to 42s 6d per cwt. Gut, etc.: 38s to 42s 6d per cwt. APPLES. Ex Maimoa and Turakina arrived in good ■"condition and met brisk demand at about following prices:—Sturmcr 19b to Sfls per case, Jonathan 17s to ISs per case, Delicious 16s to 18s per case, Scarlet Nonpariel and Dunn's Favourite 18s tg :0s per case, Cleopatra 20s to 23s per case, Statesman and Borne Beauty ISs to 193 per case, London Pippin 16s to 18s per case, Bona 16s to 17s per case. Others lCs 6d to 17s 6d per case. Of the Kent shipment a few have arrived at the market in good condition as far as known, and some have been sold' for: Stunner 19s to 21b per case, Granny Smith, . Tin—£2s3 2s 6d and £254 2s 6d. Silver—Standard 31id per oz, fine 34Jd. WHEAT. LONDON, June 14. Wheat cargoes continue weak, though the world's shipments axe smaller. Australian is depressed, and sales show la decline. The demand is of the smallest. A cargo of 8750 tons, ex Elnton, brought 67a. Parcels are in" poor request. Ex Persio, at Liverpool, sold at about 56e 7Jd. Liverpool future quotations are: July, lis 8d; October, lis id; December, 10s lOd per cental. DAHtY PRODUCE. DaJgety- and Company, Limited, have received the following- cablegram from their London office, dated June 15th:— . "Since our advice on the 11th inst., prices for butter are 2s higher and for cheese Is to 2» Higher. "Imports of butter into United Kingdom last month totalled 540,000 cwt as compared with 581,000 cwt for the corresponding period | last year. For the five months ending Hay I 31st • butter imports totalled 2,817,000 cwt as compared with 2,290,000 cwt for the corI months last'year."
