BUSES V. TRAMS IN WELLINGTON.
(PBZS3 ASSOCIATION SBWGHAU.) "WELLINGTON, Juno 16. Motor-buses start in opposition to the trains to-day. Tho first run chosen is to Island Bay, for which a shorter route will bo followed than by tram. Among the proposals to popularise the trams is the introduction of an allday ticket for Is, as in London. This is being considered hy .tho Jram authorities.
