DUNEDIN EXHIBITION.
». ■■ - : SUPPORT OF ENGLISH FIRMS. (SPECIAL 10 "THX MUSBB.'') , DUNEDIN, June 13. Applications for space at the Exhibition are going to be very numerous and important. Yesterday's . mail brought a dozen from English fifms which wish to exhibit on their own account. The Hon. 'G. J.' 'Anderson stated in connexion with;' publicity that the Government was doing a great deal. Tho Government was showing films of the Exhibition in Australia, and intended to send a man to America to advertise the country and the Ex-, hibition. A ' cinema hall would be open continuously at the Exhibition for the showing of films of New Zea-land-'B scenic beauties and.also df films of an industrial nature. The Exhibition architects havo been instructed to prepare plans for another building 160 ft by 150 ft to house the Education Court. Tho Aquarium building at the Exhibition is well under way, and the directors expect to have it finished and in running order well in advance of the opening date for the Exhibition. Specimens of large fish and of deer heads are already arriving, and A good exhibit of' this'-class is promised in -addition to the live fish in the tanks. To make this portion of the exhibit more interesting to those possessing mounted dee;: heads, etc., the directors have decided to award at least six gold medals for the best specimens of mounted game exhibited at the Aquarium. It is fully expected that our local sportsmen will send along plenty of specimens for exhibition, so that the overseas visitor.can get an idea of the wonderful game resources we have in New Zealand.
