FISHERMEN MISSING.
• (FEZS3 ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) THAMES, June 13. Further information regarding the two fishermen supposed to have been drowned last week shows that bait was scarce, and it was decided that Silveria and Hansen should go to the Great Barrier for bait. Local fishermen consider that they reached the Barrier safely, but * that on returning to. Cuvier Island the launch met the full fury of the easterly gale, and in attempting to turn back for shelter it swamped. The police at Port Charles and Whitianga are keeping a lookout for traces.
