(AUSTRALIAN AND X.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.)

LONDON, Juno 11.

French newspapers emphasise London's insistence on the bi-lateral character of tho proposed Security Pact. The "Echo de Paris," for example, declares that London wishes to mako no difference between the absurd hypothesis of a Fronch attack on Germany and tho possible one of a German attack 011 Franco. There ia to be no agreement between the British and French military staffs, and if Germany attacks France and- Great Britain comes to her nidi later everything must bo improvised as it was in 193.4.
