A Palmerston North minister paid a - late visit • one night recently to the house of his leading office-bearer to regain possession of some luggage which had been inadvertently left in the office-bearer's car. - ,On arriving at-his destination the minister found' the house in .darkness, and Wing unwilling, to disturb the slumbers, of the household, he quietly entered the garage and took possession of his lest property.,He had gqt about a hundred yards "on his homeward way when he Was angrily hailed by two. pursuing figures.
