THEFT AND MISCHIEF.
YOUTHS PLEAD GUILTY.

DUNEDIN, June . 12.
A batch of half-a-dozen youths, whose ages ranged from 19 to 22 years, appeared in the dock at the Magistrate's Court to-day, before Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M., to answer to a formidable list of charges of breaking and entering, theft and mischief.
Colin Frederick McDonald, Robert McDonald Mcßeath, William Leslie Lamb, and John Milne were charged with having, on June 2nd, broken and entered the shop of George Madigan at Caversham and stolen a large number of articles valued at £42 lis 2d. j Prank Abbot McDonald, Colin Fred- j erick McDonald, and. Robert McDonald i Mcßeath were charged with having, on May 31st, at Caversham, broken and entered the warehouse of the Cowie Brewery Company, Ltd., and stolen a quantity of liquor valued at £3 l'Os. Frank Abbot McDonald, Robert McDonald Mcßeath, and Colin Frederick McDonald were charged with having, on May 31st, at Caversham, broken, and entered the warehouse of Ronald' Ha'tton and stolen stamps, to'the value of £1 8s 3d.
Robert Donald Mcßeath, John Milne,, Colin Frederick McDonald, and William Leslio Lamb were charged with having, on June 2nd, wilfully damaged a; motor-car to the extent of £1 3s 6d, the property of Donald McGregor''Reid. The game accused were charged with having stolen a valued, at £2, the .property of Reid. Frank Abbot McDonald, Robert Mc-' Donald Mcßeath, John Milne, and Raymond Leavers Chaclands Appleby were charged with having stolen a quantity of grapes, valued at £2 10s, the property of Thomas Kay Si(fey v After hearing the evidence, all the accused, who pleaded guilty, were committed to the Supremo Court for sentence.
