The . price of eggs ■in ' Dunedm stands relatively constant at 2s 3d-perdoz., and as the public are,buying freely at the reduced retail price, stocks "are not accumulating; • indeed, supplies are somewhat-short, and-an immediate reduction in. price is not expected. GERALDINE STOCK SALE. This week's stock sale was tho last of the season for fat sheep. . There was a very fair yarding, and satisfactory prices were secured. The attendance waff good, although the weather was very unpleasant. Fat lambs sold at 25s to 35s lOd, fatewea at 20s to 31s 9d, . and fat wethers at 34s 6d to 39s 3d. Two-tooth ewes sold at 2(ia 3d, old „«wea at ss: to lGs, ewe lambs at 82s sd, and mixed sex Jambs at 235. Spring cows sold' at £ll,. and heifers in profit at £5. Store piga made from 17e 6d t0.295. THE PROPERTY MARKET. The property fituated at the corner of Fitzgerald avenue and Biver road, which was offered by public auction by Jones, McCrostie Company j Ltd., on Monday last (in conjunction with H. S. Richards .and 8on) on account-of-Mr J. J. • Collins, has been sold privately by the two firms in conjunction, to Mr Rowlings.
