Many other airplanes escorted the ex? pedition. on the first stage of the jpurndy, the object of which is to survey an air route across Siberia over the Gobi Desert to ChinaN If the expedition is successful it is proposed to form a Soviet-Chinese; Company and establish permanent communication between -Europe and China over this route.
