(BT CABLE-t-IBESB ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.) <AUBTaAjJAN AMD K.Z. CABLE ASBOCUTIOS.), MELBOURNE,-June 11. In the House of Representatives, Mr Bruce {Prime Minister), referring to the late Mr W. F/ Maasey,charts, tensed him as essentially a Democrat and one of the Snest representatives which modem Democracy had produced. To his country Mr Maasey had left- a long record of public service, and to future generations an outstanding example of what a man of character and capacity might achieve b> the pursuit of ideals.
The House adjourned for an hour as a mark of respect. '
The Senate also carried a resolution of sympathy. '
