A meeting of the Royal Arch Chapter, Xo. 1, Canterbury Grand Lodge. U.A.0.D., was hold on Tuesday,, the R.V.A.p. Bro. Barnes presiding over a large attendance. P.A. Bro. G. Ironsides and P.A. Bro. E. Kinsman vreio initiated into the chapter It was decided to hold the first competition for the V.A. charge next week in the Hod© of St. Albans Lodge. It waa decided to "allocate £1 Is for first prue: and 10s 6d for second for the four solo competitions, and that a- framed photo of the winning team be presented to the winners of the errand initiation ceremony. An invitation was received from the Ivy of Linwood Lodge to bo present on the Druid's Son initiation night, which was accepted. It was also decided to hold a. country teams initiation ceremony competition on or about XT Day. P.D.P.. Bro. Morrison offered if live a trophy of a pair of gavels for thi s competition, which was accepted wiUi thank*-
