The Union Steam Ship Company's steamer Waikawa, eailine; for Java, was held up by members ,of the crew refusing to awl until two trimmers, who were engaged in Sydney under Now' Zealand articles, received Australian rates of pay. After the vessel had £en delayed several hours the trimmers were -iron" Australian, rates -and: tho vessel sailed. Further calls to man the steamers Dilga ft nd Eromanga failed to secure the necessary crews. -
