CASUALTIES.

At about 8 o'clock yesterday, momling a horse attached to a milkman's cart. bolted in St. Asaph street. A married man named E. K. Binstead, 2& years of age, residing at 493 St. Asaph street, was cycling near the intersection of High and St. Asaph streets and was unable to get out of the way of the horse and cart. Ho was thrown on his head and rendered unconscious and was removed to the Ohristchurch Hospital sufferincr from injuries to the head, lace and hand. The horse continued in its career and collided with another cyclist, a young woman, who was.cycling in St. Asaph street, and knocked her off her machine. Her injuries were of, a minor character. Both bicycles were badly.damaged. Norman Stanley Jones, 22 years of age, residing at the Exeter Nurseries, Papanui, died suddenly last evening. As ho was not being attended by a doctor, an inquest will be held to-day.
