, .4 GORNIK OUTPOINTED. (PEISS ASSOCIATION tSLEGItIti.) NAPIER, June 10. In a fifteen-round contest here to-night, Eddie Parker (Hastings) defeated Max Gornik (Australia) on points. The fight was very willing. At first Parker appeared to have matters his own way, but towards the end tho Australian brightened up nnd went for 4 knock-out. Parker's quickness saved him a great deal of punishment, but both men received a severe milling. Gornik received, a hard jolt in tho third round and had Parker sailed in then he could probably have ended the fight. The encounter was verv clean from start to finish.
