RICHMOND BURGESSES' ASSOCIATION.

The newly-formed Richmond Burgesses' Association met last evening. Mr J.'Ker-. noy presided over a small attendance. A letter was received from the St. Albans Burgesses' Association- conveying congratulations. The question of the widening of tho Stanmore road and bridge was discussed, a number of accidents having occurred .there recently. It was resolved that a letter sent to the City Council asking for a sum to be placed on' the estimates for the -widening of Stanmore road and bridge. Complaints were made regarding the lighting on North Avon road. The chairman wasasked to inspect.
