Forty thousand people watched the second Soccer match between England and New South Wales. Play in the first session was last and bright. "There was little to choose between the teams. The scores at half-time were: New South Wales 1, England 1. Cartwright, the local goalkeeper, was injured and had to retire. During the second half, New South Wales was further handicapped by the loss of Lcadbeatcr, who wa3 also injured. For the remainder of the game, they played nine men. England pressed their advantage and added threo moro goals to their total. The final scores were: England .. •• ■• * Now South Wales •-. . •• 1 Both teams gave a fine exhibition.
