SCHOOL SPORTS.
A football match between the Lidbrooka and Tai Tapu schools was played on Friday, on tho ground of tho former. The scores were: Ladbrooks 39 points, Tai Tapu 3 points. At the close of the game afternoon tea was provided by the Ladbrooks 'team. A return match with Prebbleton will be • played ■on Friday, 12th inst., at LfKibrookß.? On the same date, a basket-ball match between Tai Tapu and Ladbrook6 {rirls will be played on the Ladbrooks court
