NORTH BEACH NOTES.
Tho Gala Committee held another of their series of euchre parties in the Ozone. Cafe recently, tho proceeds going ■ to the furnishing fund for the new Memorial Hall. There was a, good attendance of players and' an enjoyable evening was spent. For the ladies' prize, .Meadamee Mairiot and Hamilton and Miss Ha6lam drew. The .final resulted in Mrs Hamilton gaining first prize and Mis 3 Haalam eecond. For the gentlemen's prize, Messrs McDonald and Hannah drew and in the play-off,- Mr Hannah secured first prize. The Peace Memorial.-is now almost completed, so the long delayed crowning ceremony should take place soon.' A meeting of the Gala- Committee has been called for this week; when--some finality should be orrived at in regard to the matter.
