As the available space within the Women's Section is- limited- for permanent' display purposes, it has been deemed advisable toarrange displays of SPECIAL EXHIBITS of Women's varied handiwork at specified periods throughout the coupe of the Exhibition. , ". . Every woman' in New Zealand has a chance to gain ah award for her wodc in the following handicrafte: Art Needlework, Dolle and Toys, Bags. Leatherwork and Paperwork, Crochet and Lace, Raffia and Cane Work, Marquetry, 'Metal and Enamel Work, ~ Plain Needlework, ivugmaking, Shawls > and Scarves, Knitting and Notions. Awards will be made in each claes. Applications for these "Special" Classes close on- October Ist.
