An emergency meeting of- the parishioners was therefore convened to discuss the posaibilities of completing the church at once, and certain proposals as to financing it were considered. The extra cost is estimated at £BOS, of which £3OO could bo raised ro cash if the balanco could bo arranged. Standing Committee had to be consulted u to the possibilities of a loan in addition to tho lar-we amount already advanced to the parish ° and the matter was still under consideration when we went to press.
