It is announced in Fleet orders that the New Zealand authorities have decided that deferred pay (from January Ist last) will not be credited to Royal Naval ratings lent ioi service with the Ne»* Zealand division, and the New Zealand Government, will be liable for tho pension contribution hitherto charged against the deterred pay. Ihis new arrangement, however, will not apply to existing loan arrangements, but only to engagements and re-engage-ments executed subsequent to December 31st, 1924.
