AN ALLEGED PLOT. (BY cable—press association—copyright.) (.RE'.ITER'S TELEOBAMS.) LONDON, April 29. It is reported that a plot has been discovered abroad for the assassination of Mr Austen Chamberlain, Seero* tary of Stato for Foreign Affairs. Official circles in London decline to make a statement at present, but have not categorically denied the cxistencq of the plot. It is believed an official statement may be issued later. Scotland Yard says it is not awaro of the plot. Mr Chamberlain, like other members of tho Cabinet, is protected by two detectives. No extra precautions are being taken in view of the report.
