MR MASSEY'S ILLNESS.
A motion of sympathy with Mr Massey was passed at the annual meeting of tho Christchurch R.S.A. last night, and the wish was expressed that he would have n speedy recovery from his illness. On Sunday last, when the Tai Tapu cenotaph was \\m eiled, a motion ft sympathy was passed by the largo gathering present to the Prime Minister in his* illness, yesterday Mr T. O. Morgan, secretary of th J Memorial Committee, received an jx-knowlcdg-roent of the resolution from Mr F. I>. Thompson, Mr Massey's private secretary. The letter requests Mr Morgan to convey to the residents of Tai Tapu tlie appreciation of Mr Massey 1 s family for the resolution.
