RIMU COMPANY'S OPERATIONS. (SPECIAL TO "THE PHHSS.") HOKITIKA, April 30. Boring operations which were undertaken in tho Awatuna district by the Rimu Gold Dredging Company, with a view to establishing later a big dredge similar to that working on Rimu flat, have been abandoned, the traces of gold found not being sufficient to warrant) the outlav proposed.
