SPEED REGULATIONS AND CHARGES, Jn view of tho confusion which exists respecting the annual charges to. bo paid in connexion with motor-lorries and tho speed at which they may travel, tho following tables, compiled ia eordanco with motor-lorry regulations under the Public Works Act, will be of interest: —

■lf pneumatic tyres are on nil wheels tjje charges will be 15. per cent, loss, An velicle over two tone carrying passengers for hire pays:^-~ 30s per passenger to 20 passengers. 40s per passenger to 30 passengers. 50s per passenger over 30 passengers. If pneumatic tyre 3 arc on all wheels, the charges arc. Ju per cent, less.
