LAST YEAR'S SURPLUS—£I,23S,OOO. (PMSS ISBOCUTJOV TXLZOJUU.) WELLINGTON, April 29. Sir Francis Bell, Acting-Prime Minister, announced to-day that the surplus for the financial year ended March 31st was £1,235,000. An advance statement of the revenue and expenditure of ordinary accounts in the Consolidated Fund showed revenue £28,630,000, and expenditure £27,395,000, a surplus of £1,235,000.
