WAIRARAPA meeting. (PBESS ASSOCIATION TZLIOSJUtJ CARTERTON. April 37. The Wairampa Rifle Association's postponed meeting Tas opened at Papawai to* day. Tho weather was doll, but fine, sal the light good. As tho morning p»n.m*tii* a drizzle of rain fell, bat did not ftffect the. shooting to any extent The light failed quickly in the afternoon, and in th» Canterbury Match the conditions for tba last men were very tad. The programme was rrepared en the basis of ISO entrants, with prize money of £620. Shooter* totalled 105 and the prize money vac tedneed to £493. Ecsulta:—
