ALLEGED KIDNAPPING.
ACCUSED DISCHARGED. LONDON, April 23. At> the trial of the four men accused of kidnapping Barry Rollitt, general secretary of the National Minority Movement in the Labour Party, when travelling from London to Liverpool to attend a Red demonstration, Rollitt, cross-examined, said that be was a Communist who addresseJ trade unions, lie admitted that he had been convicted for seditious speeches in 1921, and since then ha<t made similar speeches throughout the country. Counsel: You might*be described aa. famous? liollitt: Yes: and I'm only younj;He admitted that he "shook hands with his captors preparatory to putting; them on trial in order to see bo-v justice works." Rowland sob, one of the defendants, gave evidence that neither the Fascist! headquarters nor any branch bad authorised the kidnapping of Rollitt, who left them as good friends. Witness gave Rollitt £d. Rollitt: You're « liar! Tho accused were fouud not guilty and discharged.
