A fnr trapper was carried 25 miles out to sea on an iee floe one afternoon, and returned "with the tide the next morning to almost the same spot, and "was rescued. This incident has "been reported to the Department of Railways and Canals, Ottawa. The man is a member of the care-taking staff at Port Nelson, Hudson Bay. He went out'on the iee to visit some traps, when the iee broke. A section three-quarters of a mile long and half a mile wide, on part of which he was standing, was carried out with the tide. The temperature was 32 degrees below zero, and his feet were frown.
