HAWARDEN-WAIKARI BRANCH. The annual meeting and reunion of the Hawarden-Waikari sub-branch of the Returned Soldiers' Association was held m the Hawarden Hall, Mr E. A. Robinson presiding over an attendance of nearly one hundred returned men and friends. The annual report, . which' outlined tho work of the year was adopted. The balancesheet showed a credit balance on the year »»K.a. » wlows—President, Mir P. Mowat; vice-presi-dent, Mr W. J- Wright; treasurer, Mr Adams; honorary secretary, Mr A R L. Wilks: executive, Messrs E. A. Robinflon, C. Surridge, H. Inch, E. J. Fahey, F. OuPlev. A. Gason, and T. Herron. After the annual meeting a smoke con°eA vote of sympathy with the Prime Minister was moved by Mr W. Booker, and carried unanimously.
