TRAMWAYMEN'S UNION.
At a general meeting of the Christchurch Tramwaymen's Union held recently, the following nominations for the various offices were received:—President, Mr A. C. Jj. Brown; vice-presidents (two required), Messrs L. Harding, S. McGeorg®, L. Lilley, J. A. Webb, and F. Kelso; executive, motor-men's representatives (three required), Messrs E. G. Ellis, L. Lilley, S. XcGeorge, S. Pepperell, J. £. Williams, R. F. Williams, N. Forbes, E. Askew, and H. Pine; conductors' representatives (five required), Messrs A. Erikson. W. Free, H. Eippley, W. Borers, E. Cox, E. Smith, W. Forbes, A. Dyer D. Millcn, F. Kelso, and A- McDougall; auditors (two required), Messrß A. McDougall and C. A. Baker. It was decided to leave the nominations of representatives of the powerhouse, permanent way, car ,},eds ni™ht and dav shifts, and overhead de partment to the members of the various detriments concerned. The nominations will remain open until the day of the annual meeting, which will take place early next month.
