Algerians are worth 3s to 3s 3d' at country stations, according to quality. Duns have slipped back, and can be bought at 3s lOd to 4s for jnim® quality, light and inferior ■ samples being worth about 3s. /iBarley is' quiet, 5s per bushel being the quotation for good malting. Second-grade and inferior line's can be bought at from 4s to 4s 6d. ' Linseed is easier, £l7 on trucks, sacks extra, being paid at country stations for fair average quality. Potato digging has recommenced after a temporary check owing to last weeks rain, and; the market is still over-supplied Values for whites stand' at £4 to £i 6s on trucks, sacks in, at oountry stations. There is still little demand for reds. The grass-seed market is dull, and pnce3 are unchanged since last .weeit. p€&s are 'quiet, and there no aetnancl for export to the United Kingdom. What little is being shipped is for grinding for meal • ouotations being about 4s 6d to 4s 9d. OXFORD STOCK SALE. An entry of 2136 fat lambs was productive of an animated sale at the Oxfoid yards yesterday. There was a representative attendance of freezer buyers and prices held good throughout, the overall average being equal to 12id.pcr lb. A feature of the sale was an exceptionally prime lot of 34 lambs god for Messrs W. and J. W. Ivory, which realised 45e Id, the next beat sale at 41s lid sold for Mr R. Budge.
