R. H. Snowdon, trading' as the Hunter Sign Co., Colombo street, claimed from H. Colonna, proprietor of the Strand TeaRojms, the sum of £3 15s for wcrk done and material supplied. Mr A. L. Haslam represented the plaintiff, «nd Mr C. G. A. Sommors appeared for the defendant. Defendant contended that he wanted some show-card work done in black and white, but the plaintiff introduced colours into the tcheme. Plaintiff staled that he thought colours would look more attractive, and he had had difficulty in understanding tho instructions of the defendant, who is an Italian, but the manageress lold him to put "fire" into tho work.

Judgment was given for plaintiff for £7 Os 9d, including £5 12s Gd paid into Court.
