The General Council of the Trade Union Congress ratified the conclusions and recommendations of the Anglo-Bus-sian conference called to deal with the difficulties in the way of the affiliation of the Russian Trades Union movement to the International Federation of Trades Unions.
Further steps which the Council may propose with tho object of calling an international conference to secure a united front by European trade unions will require tho endorsement of the Trade Union Congress Which meets at Scarborough in September. ; [lt was previously reported that an agreement between representatives of the British and Russian Trade Unions was reached in favour of joint efforts being made to induce tho Amsterdam International to agree to a free, unconditional, and immediate conference with representatives of the Busaian trades union movement. The meeting also advocated closer relations between,the British and Bufißian trades union movements by a free exchange of information, tho establishment of a joint advisory Council to consist of the chairman, secretary, and three members of each movement,]
