ST. PHILIP'S CHURCH, BECKENHAM.
"In reviewing the year's work it is pleasing to note that it has been tho most successful year on record," stated a clause jn the annual report of St. Philip's Church, Beckenbim, presented to the parishioners last night.
The. report continued that attendances at all services had been well maintained in spite of the epidemic, and collections had been very creditable. Social ovenings held during the year, although not a financial success, proved very enjoyable, and helped social intercourse amongst the members of the congregation. Tho statement of accounts showed a credit balance of £43 for the church and £l2 tot the Sunday school. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Secretary and treasurer, Mr J. Woodbury; committee, Messrs H. W. Walker, C. Kirk, W. J. Caleb, Pickett, A. J. N'owton, and Gordon, Mesdamea MoWhannell, Kirk, Hulbert, Walkor, Campbell, Hollis. Carter, and Woodbury, Miss McWhannell and Miss M. Bennett; representative* on St. Saviour's vestry, Messrs J. Woodbury and H. W. Walker..
