Yyt.ee for the same reasons as in the case of ,-R. D. Helmore. The offer of such reduction to a player in cunncxion with any tournament will rendev the tournament liable to have the sanction of the Council withdrawn niul any further sanction refused. Any reduclion, not exceeding 40 per cent., which may be offered, must be'extended without distinction to all players competing. Helmore, who was recently temporarily suspended in connexion with the team he look to Paris last autumn, had his suspension exlendod to the end of the. year. All the other players, including Von Braun, Higgs, Jacob, and A. v H. Fyzee, received notices intimating that penalties may be inflicted unless they reveal in detail the hotel expenses paid by the Paris Club, And doposit their proration thereof.)
